Book Return Policy

  • Student-athletes on a book scholarship must return their books to the bookstore scholarship counter prior to each semester deadline. (For example: 2006-2007 due Dec. 20th, May 12th).
  • All packets, lab manuals, CD's that come with a book or required for the class must be returned.
  • It is your responsibility to inform Jim Praska (Scholarship Coordinator for Student-Athletes) if you need to keep a textbook beyond the return deadline (to finish an Incomplete or continuing the next semester's class).
  • If you need a packet or book that is not available at the bookstore, purchase the item and bring the receipt to Jim Praska for a refund. This item must then be returned to Jim Praska at the end of the term.
  • If you do not return your books immediately after final exams, you will be billed 75% of the cost of the book and a hold will be placed on your record until the bill is paid.
  • If a book is stolen, you must file a police report and bring a copy of the police report to Jim Praska in order to get a duplicate copy of the book.
